The best vet practice around. My dog loves going to the vets, the team are all so friendly and I know he will always be cared for as if he was a pet of their own.

I write to express our deep thanks and appreciation for the excellent care you have given Lola and wish to write a testimonial to the professionalism and kindness you have shown us.
Lola, our cocker spaniel, hit her chest badly when she mis-timed jumping into the car 6 weeks ago. Initially she seemed OK but became unwell a couple of days later. Over the next 4 days Lola became increasingly ill and distressed despite 3 visits to our vets. A concerned friend recommended we take Lola to Viking Vets…..at last a professional caring service! Lola’s condition was immediately assessed as serious and she underwent blood tests and swabs to ascertain the extent and cause of the deep skin infection that had spread right across her chest. Lola was treated with kindness and care and in such a calm manner that she endured the dressing changes without becoming distressed and still tried to lick the vets and nurses! This was incredible to as she had always been so afraid at our previous vets that she was muzzled. Lola’s infection needed frequent review and dressing changes, so we met several vets but as the communication and documentation was excellent the handover was seamless and I was always kept fully informed of the care plan. Lola is a much loved pet and seeing her so ill has been worrying but I have had full confidence from day one and am so very grateful for the exceptional care that is given as standard by every member of staff we have met at Viking Vets. I am delighted to say that today Lola has completed 5 weeks of of antibiotic treatment, dressings and analgesia and her staggering wounds have finally healed and we are again looking forward to running in LeighWoods! Thank you all so very much for healing Lola.

We have been clients of Viking Vets for over 13 years now. When I say ‘we’ I mean our numerous pets (we own and have owned) and myself and the family. All my dogs go in tails wagging except for one, not because anything bad is happening to her, it’s just her personality.
Over the years pets have died, been sick, injured or attacked and thankfully due to the vigilance of everyone in the practice the trauma of this has been eased by the teams care.
Both we and our pets have been treated with kindness, respect and as individuals by all the vets and nurses. Probably because as a team they all work well together even during stressful times they remain calm and cheerful.
They are always forthcoming with information and useful advice and if unsure never hesitate to seek the answer.
If anyone asks which vet I use I’m always proud to say Viking Vets.

Meggie, our pet dog, was one of Viking Vet's first patient. We were very lucky to have found a veterinary service which offers good customer service and a genuine interest in providing the best treatment for our dogs. Whenever we were concerned about anything regarding the health and well-being of our dogs we were offered good practical advice and reassured and guided to follow appropriate procedures.
Mopsy, our other dog, recovered through incredible odds time and time again. She was given the most wonderful care, treatment and post-surgery support which alleviated our fears and concern. Maria and her team do a wonderful job and we grateful for all the help they have given us.
