Andrew Lowe
Practice Manager
Andrew was a farm manager before joining our team, and his busy role as practice manager entails everything from finance, keeping the car park and garden clean and fixing our microscopes and computers. He and Maria (our head vet) live with their dog, and he has a passion for old cars, which he likes to fix and give a new lease of life.

Maria Lowe
Head Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVSOriginally from Norway, Maria met her husband and our practice manager, Andrew, on her gap year in Australia. She graduated from Bristol University in 1994, and worked in a small animal hospital in the Cotswolds before joining the BBC vet series Vets in Practice in 1996. She set up our practice in 2000, and enjoys walking, eating and reading in her spare time.

Victoria Seal
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVSVicki graduated from Bristol University in 2000, and worked at a mixed practice in Wales before joining us in 2003. She loves all aspects of her role, particularly ophthalmology, which she holds a postgraduate qualification in. Outside of work, she loves having fun with her husband and children, gardening, swimming, singing and taking care of her dog called Jess and a cat called Monty.

Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVSAmy has been with our practice since 2015, and graduated from Bristol University in 2017. She now enjoys a varied caseload as part of our veterinary team.

Federica Tarantino
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS CertAVPFederica is originally from Italy, and qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2011. She holds advanced practitioner status, and her clinical interests include keyhole and soft tissue surgeries and emergency and critical care. In her free time, she enjoys going camping with her family, playing volleyball and painting.

MRCVSSarah graduated from Bristol University in 2008, and worked in practices in South Wales and Thornbury and for the RSPCA before joining our team. She has a particular interest in dentistry and pain relief, and enjoys exploring her local countryside, eating out, gardening and spending time with her family and their rescue cat, Nigel,

Lisa Cartwright
Head Veterinary Nurse
RVNLisa has been with us since the practice opened in 2000, and even helped to paint the building before our grand opening! As head nurse, she enjoys her hugely varied role to keep her team and clients happy. She has a dog called Bryn and a cat called Bertie, and has a passion for running, cooking, reading and travelling.

Jeri Broderick
Deputy Head Nurse
RVNOriginally from Taiwan, Jeri moved to the UK with her husband in 2014. A lifelong animal lover, she has a degree in veterinary science and previously worked at Taipei Zoo and as an animal protection officer. She has two cats called Sushi and Goma, and two dogs called Popcorn and Gerty at home.

Chloe Haynes
Deputy Head Nurse
RVNChloe joined our nursing team in 2017, and enjoys a busy role as deputy head nurse. While studying for her veterinary nursing degree at the University of Portsmouth, she gained experience at various practices across the region. She is the proud owner of a leopard gecko and a dog called Ben.

Georgia Bailey
Veterinary Nurse
RVNGeorgia joined us shortly after qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2021, and has a keen interest in feline medicine – she loves seeing all the cats that come into our practice! In her spare time, she loves dancing.

Josh Kidd
Veterinary Nurse
RVNBorn and raised in Yorkshire, Josh moved to Bristol after graduating from the University of the West of England with a degree in animal behaviour and welfare. He worked at a small animal charity practice before qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2017, and has been with us since 2020. Much of his spare time is spent camping, swimming and cycling.

Ella Davies
Veterinary Nurse
RVNElla joined us in 2020 as a kennel assistant, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2024. She has a particular interest in geriatric nursing care and is very passionate about making our older patients as comfortable as possible, having had her own dog, Floyd, by her side throughout her nursing journey. In her spare time, she loves baking, walking and going to the gym.

Ellie Lisle
Student Veterinary Nurse
Ellie graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2017 with a degree in animal conservation science, and joined our team in 2021 as a kennel maid. Her favourite pastimes include wild swimming, paddle boarding, bouldering and singing at open-mic nights.

Sophia Green
Student Veterinary Nurse
Sophia studied animal management at college, and joined us in 2022 as a kennel assistant, before beginning her veterinary nurse training. She has two rabbits at home, and loves socialising with her friends in her free time.

Kennel assistant
Ruby joined the team in June 2024 as our kennel assistant. She studied animal management at college. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Labrador, Milo, and making crafts. She also enjoys going for walks, and spending time with her family and friends.

Rebecca White
Head Receptionist
RVNBecky was a registered veterinary nurse for many years, and joined us in 2008. As part of our reception team, she assists with insurance claims and our health plans. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, children and their pets, as well as visiting family in Torbay whenever she gets the chance.

Anna Sims
Receptionist
Anna worked as a midwife for fifteen years before pivoting to voluntary roles and raising her family, and joined us in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys baking themed birthday cakes, gardening, jogging with her dog, Albie, and spending time with her family, including Bella, their cat.

Ashton Tawton
Receptionist
Ashton spent ten years working in the public sector before joining us in 2023 as a receptionist. Her love for animals meant that our practice was the perfect fit for her. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their little ones.

Jessica Mistry
Receptionist
Jess is the newest member of our reception team, providing maternity cover. She joined us at the end of 2024, and will be going on to study Veterinary Medicine at university later this year. Outside of work she enjoys art, playing the saxophone and spending time with her friends and family, and their dog, Rolo.

Louise Nancekievill
Veterinary Administrator
After graduating from Bristol University with a first-class degree in zoology, Louise worked in scientific publishing for several years. She joined us in 2016, and as well as being our wellbeing champion, handles insurance claims, payroll and HR. Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding, dancing, eating out and spending time with her family and their cat, Portia.
